Who is FIPS?
Friends of Icknield Primary School (FIPS) is the parent teacher association for Icknield Primary, Sawston. We are a registered Charity No. 284504, and member of Parent Kind (a membership association for PTAs).
About Us
What do we do?
The PTA raises extra funds through a wide range of fun and creative initiatives, events, and much, much more. Our goal is to build strong relationships between parents, teachers, students and the whole school community. We will be organising extra-curricular activities for the students such as movie nights and discos, with all proceeds raised being used to support the school community. This could be by purchasing resources, such as library books and play equipment, as well as subsidising activities to ensure that every student has equal opportunity to enjoy the school experience.
Who we are
The members of Icknield PTA are the parents, guardians and carers of any pupil currently attending the Icknield Primary School plus all teaching and non-teaching staff currently employed by the school.
